Honeywell

Making It Possible to Work
in an Impossible World

Campaign Creation, Digital Design, Print Design

At the end of 2019, Honeywell introduced a complete rebrand (made by us at MRM//McCann). 2020 was to be the year of implementation, flowing that new look into all forms of media and making new creative that would reintroduce the brand to a larger consumer base.

Instead, we got COVID.

Everything changed. The target audience, the general message, the budget. We needed to pivot, and pivot fast. So my creative parter and I were tasked with developing a campaign that showed how Honeywell can, and is, leading the way to help the world return to work, travel and life in the face of COVID.

So we focused on what Honeywell did best. Cutting edge air filtration systems for airplanes, hospitals and office buildings. A plastic alternative for vaccine packaging with significantly better impact resistance vs glass. AI systems for logistics tracking. N95 masks. All the things Honeywell was making for the future, but suddenly needed today. Our Aclar Edge work specifically was a huge success - Honeywell sent out thousands of samples in response to overwhelming initial demand, and the Aclar bottles have been such a success that new sizes and colors are currently being developed.

Honeywell Tech Forum

As one of the few companies best positioned to understand the process of how to return to normalcy after the outbreak of COVID, Honeywell created (co-sponsored with FastCompany) the Honeywell Tech Forum 2020. An online-only event, it hosted discussions between experts in tech, health, etc. on what it would take to get back to work, life, and travel.

My role was to develop all design for the forum. All visuals, all digital collateral, all PowerPoint templates to be used by the presenters, etc. Due to time/labor/money constraints, everything had to be made by me. In the end it was a success, and has since been continued and rebranded as Honeywell BEYOND.
